sea chefs is welcoming applications for the position of German-speaking Barkeeper (f/m/d) aboard Hapag-Lloyd Cruises luxury fleet, featuring MS EUROPA and MS EUROPA 2. Working in coordination with the Public Room Manager and supported by a team of bar stewards, you will independently run one of the onboard bars. Primary responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages and internationally renowned cocktails, delighting guests with expert drink recommendations, supporting special onboard events such as pool parties, and overseeing bar inventory control, stocking, and ordering. The duration of the first contract is 5 to 6 months.
Eligible candidates must possess very good German language skills and good English proficiency. Requirements include a completed apprenticeship in the restaurant or hospitality sector paired with at least 1 year of professional experience, or alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a barkeeper. An additional bartender qualification and extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits are preferred.
