sea chefs is seeking hospitality professionals to fill the position of Barkeeper (w/m/d) aboard Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ premier luxury vessels, MS EUROPA and MS EUROPA 2. Working in consultation with the Public Room Manager and collaborating with the bar team, you will independently run one of the onboard bars, prepare and serve international cocktails and beverages, provide expert drink recommendations to guests, assist during events, and oversee stock ordering, control, and inventory. The first contract duration is 5 to 6 months based on individual agreement.
Qualified candidates must have completed vocational training in upscale restaurant or hotel operations, at least 1 year of professional experience as a barkeeper (with relevant additional bar certifications preferred), and comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits. A polished appearance, excellent service manners, very good German, and good English language skills are required.
