sea chefs is currently seeking a professional Baker (f/m/d) to join the galley department across its river cruise fleet operating on European rivers. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and baking fresh bread and baked goods for both guests and crew members. Key duties include calculating production quantities according to onboard needs, adhering strictly to standard recipes, ordering raw ingredients, conducting stock control, and assisting other galley divisions as required.
Applicants must possess a formal culinary education or relevant certification, combined with sound knowledge of and adherence to HACCP standards, hygiene, safety, and workplace environmental guidelines. Strong planning skills, a team-oriented mindset, and fluency in English and/or German (depending on the vessel) are required.
